Opt-Out & Privacy Policies
These are the Grace and Truth Sabbath Fellowship (herein “GTSF” or “us”) policies last updated April 17, 2024.
Opt-In Policy for your Telephone Number
Text TEXTME or SUBSCRIBE to permit us to send you text messages. Text simply STOP at any time to stop. We do not sell your information or give it to third parties. Data rates may apply. Text HELP for more information, including our Privacy Policy.
Opt-Out Policy for your Telephone Number
Text STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us. If you text TEXTME or SUBSCRIBE again, we will text again according to out Opt-In Policy.
Opt-Out Policy for your Email Address
Email us with a “Subject” line of UNSUBSCRIBE to stop us from sending emails to your address. We will not send any more emails until we receive a subsequent email from you.
Opt-Out Policy for your Street and Mailing Address
Contact us via phone, email or letter and state that you do not want to receive any more mailings from us and we will permanently stop mailings to your address.
Privacy Policy
GTSF does not disclose any nonpublic personally identifiable information about any of its contacts to any non-affiliated third parties. We never use your personal information for any marketing or profit-making purpose. Your information will be used only for the the GTSF goals and purposes by workers appointed by the GTSF Elders. For example, if a GTSF event changes at the last moment, a GTSF worker may use your personal information to contact you about how to handle the change in plans. As another example, if you are confined to your home due to illness, we may share you information with a fellow believer to bring you a hot meal and essential supplies. We do not sell or trade your personal information for any marketing purposes—we treat it as confidential.
GTSF may occasionally text or email you information about activities related to our congregation, such as the Biblical Feast Days. This information may occasionally include mentions of hotels, restaurants, Christian concerts, etc., which we believe to be of interest to you. We do not receive any money from these mentions and you are always free to make whatever arrangements best suit you. We never share your personal information with any of these vendors.

Personally differentiable information we may collect and how we use it:
First and Last Name – used for respectful communication between church workers and all whom we may contact; to keep personal records separated one from another. In the event of two individuals with the same names, we will keep additional information to uniquely identify them.
Age or Birth Date – used in a general way to determine who might be interested in various congregational events.
Names and ages of family members interested in our congregation – used for the same purposes as above.
Telephone Numbers – used to to return calls, make contact for congregation functions and make contact for emergencies. When you have Opted-In for texting, we may: 1) send occasional group texts about relevant subjects, 2) respond to your texts to our main number, 615-656-0791, 3) respond to your texts from our congregation worker’s phones; 4) rarely send emergency group texts to all who often attend our congregation, .
Email Addresses – used to return any email correspondence we receive, to send a weekly email with congregation announcements and a summary of the previous service, to send rare special purpose emails to notify brethren of things we believe will interest them.
Street and Mailing addresses – used for rare mail correspondence, to contact brethren when other contact methods fail, to inform them of nearby home Bible studies or other events of interest, for congregation workers to provide transportation to events when needed.
The above information is never sold and not shared without the individual’s permission. To find out what personally identifiable information we have about you, to correct it or to request that we no longer use it, please make your request to info@GraceAndTruthSabbathFellowship.org. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personally identifiable information.
While we do not expect many changes to our privacy policy, we do reserve the right to change our privacy practices in the future. Before we do that, we will provide you with a revised Privacy Policy and give you the opportunity to opt out of any changes with which you disagree.
